Joyagoo Image Search: Start with the Detail You Want to Find
Image-led shopping works best when you know which visible detail matters. A photograph can contain a jacket, trousers, shoes, a bag and a busy background.

Image-led shopping works best when you know which visible detail matters. A photograph can contain a jacket, trousers, shoes, a bag and a busy background. Before using it to look for a find, decide which object you are trying to identify and what makes that object interesting to you.
The task is not finished when a result looks similar. The result still needs to lead to an understandable item whose options and dimensions you can assess. Use the steps below to identify and compare the item.
Use the text search and category links on this site to open OG Spreadsheet. Image upload is not available in this interface. Keep a reference photo for your own comparison.
Choose an image with a clear subject
Prefer a view where the intended object is visible and not mostly hidden by another item. Keep the shape and the details that distinguish it. If you crop a personal search image, avoid removing the feature you are actually trying to find, such as a fastening, pocket arrangement or strap connection.
Use images you are entitled to use and avoid uploading private account information, addresses or other people's sensitive details. A clear item picture does not need a payment receipt or parcel label beside it.
Decide whether appearance or identity is the real goal
You may want a similar silhouette rather than the exact pictured item. Or you may need a specific replacement whose dimensions and included pieces matter. These are different tasks.
For an appearance-led search, compare the visible features that attracted you. For a replacement, the candidate's own description, measurements and configuration become decisive. A matching photograph cannot establish an unseen connection, a precise material or the contents of a selected package.
The accessories guide explores those practical relationships. The size guide helps with comparisons where the important difference is a dimension rather than the overall look.
Examine each candidate as a new item
Open the item destination and compare it with the intended object. Then look at the selected colour, size or configuration. If the first picture shows several objects, identify which one the option actually concerns.
Do not treat a similar result as a carried-over selection. Its quantity, amount, included parts and availability need to be read for that candidate. The spreadsheet links guide explains why an item address and a fully defined option are not interchangeable.
Make an unsuccessful search more specific
If the candidates do not address your object, reconsider the image's subject before adding more assumptions. A closer view may clarify the intended item. A short description of the shape or feature can help you organise what to look for next.
Keep an unsuccessful or ambiguous attempt separate from a successful item identification. A blank result, an unrelated picture or a loading display is not a reason to assume that the item is unavailable everywhere. It means that this attempt has not supplied the answer you wanted.
Finish with a small, usable shortlist
Once you have several plausible candidates, compare the details relevant to your purchase rather than repeatedly collecting the same-looking photograph. For clothing, use the appropriate style and measurement information. For other objects, identify the actual configuration and any relevant dependencies.
The best spreadsheet guide helps you compare the remaining choices. Follow the shopping guide when you are ready to move from identifying an item to considering costs and the next actual step.
Common questions
Does a similar image establish that two items are identical?
No. Compare the candidate's own option, dimensions, included pieces and description. Appearance alone cannot settle every relevant detail.
Should I upload a full outfit when I want one accessory?
Use a view that makes the intended accessory clear while preserving its distinguishing details. Avoid including unrelated private information.
Before your next step
After finding a visually similar candidate, read its selected option and contents before adding it to the list. Similarity is not confirmation of an exact match.
